Fruit Smoothie[edit]

This creamy drink will give you plenty of energy for the day ahead – and it’s so easy to make. Serve it with cereal or toast for a complete breakfast.


  • Preparation 5 mins

  • Serves 4


  • 150g (51/2oz) fresh or frozen blueberries .
  • 3 bananas (sliced) .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional) .
  • 500g ml (17 fl oz) thick, natural bio yoghurt .
  • 200ml (7fl oz) milk


  • small sharp knife.
  • chopping board.
  • blender

1.Peel the bananas and then roughly chop them into small slices. Put them into the blender and add the blueberries, vanilla extract, yoghurt, and milk.


2.Whizz in the blender until the mixture is smooth, thick, and creamy. Pour the smoothie into four tall glasses and enjoy this simple and nutritious breakfast.
